Patreon Update:
Yes, I've been very busy lately. It's hard to believe that I'm coming up on the one year anniversary of starting my Patreon page and I have to say, if you're not a member, you are missing out. I have the Patreon page broken into two main categories: the author and the artist. If you want to support the author, there are options for that. If you want to support the artist, you can do that too. There's even an option that allows you to get all the good stuff I produce as an author and an artist. What's better is, these memberships begin at an incredibly low, low cost: the equivalent of ONE cup of gourmet coffee per month.
You read that last line correctly! You can help support me just by donating the cost of a single cup of coffee from your favorite coffee shop. And what do you get?
I'm so glad you asked. On the artist side, you get some great behind the scenes time-lapse videos of my latest drawings. Do you like to color to relieve stress? If so, I've got you covered too. Every month I add a slew of coloring pages that are ready to print and color. As of this post, there are about 300 different coloring pages for you to download and save. Now that's a LOT of coloring!
Here are a few of the work-in-progress adult coloring pages I'm working on. Each of these can be downloaded from my Paw-Paw's Ink Well Patreon page.
On the author side, you get to see my writing progress. From the initial story idea (usually just a sentence or two) to the finished product, you see all the steps I take in creating a short story, novella, or novel. You'll have access to all the edits and omission and discover all the plot twists and character development stages that go into the writing process.
Publications:

Heart Condition...
I do not have any new prose publications yet, but be sure I'm working hard and heavy on getting the next installment of The Roseland Chronicles (and featuring paranormal investigator Joseph Beck) to print. There are a lot of moving parts to Heart Condition, so it is taking a little longer to complete, but don't fret...I'm hoping to have it finished before the year is out.
Even though I don't have any written works available, I have published two more adult coloring books. They are both available now on Amazon. I'll post the links below for anyone that is interested. Even if you are not a color artist, you might know someone whom is...and Christmas IS right around the corner (hint, hint!).
The first coloring book is called Baby Dragons: and their Moms and if features...yes, you probably guessed it...Dragons! This book features more that 50 greyscale images ready for your colored pencils or markers. This is a good route to go if you don't want to sign up on Patreon because this collection puts all the images into one handy book. The downside is that you can only color the images once whereas with Patreon, you can download and print images as often as you like.
The second coloring book is titled Nana's Flower Garden and features everything that might have something to do with a garden. From flowers to gazebos, bees and butterflies, to barns and potting sheds, this book is sure to satisfy all the green thumbs out there. Like Baby Dragons, these images are also available on my Patreon page.

EBAY & ETSY:
Finally, I think I mentioned this before, but for you readers, I have a nice library of collectible and popular fiction listed on eBay. One of my main focal points is movie novelizations. For some reason, these can be highly collectible. For example, I found a first edition paperback copy of The Butterfly Effect, the movie that stars Aston Kutcher...anyway, the paperback version of this book sold on eBay for $40! Who would have thought, right?! That being said, the old Halloween, Friday the 13th, and Nightmare on Elm Street book adaptations can run into the hundreds of dollars!
In addition, I like to find rare out-of-print books, first edition hardcovers, and anything that might seem obscure or unique. So if you are a bookworm like myself, you might want to look at my Paw-Paw's Ink Well eBay store (again...Christmas is right around the corner!).
Speaking of unique: more often than not, 50+ year-old hardcover books are often missing the dust jackets they originally came with. In other cases, they might still have a dust jacket, but they are so worn, town, and frayed, that they look terrible. This is especially true of library discarded books (which I come across ALOT). So, what does an artist/book collector do when he runs across a book that no longer has a dust jacket? He gets creative!
Here's what I mean. Take these two books:

They are Little House on the Prairie and Little Town on the Prairie. Both were discarded library editions with all the labels, rubber stamp ink on the interior, and card catalogue holders...and both were missing dust jackets. The covers were dirty from use and abuse and neither looked very good overall. So I decided they both needed a face lift to make them more appealing.
After purchasing some supplies, here's how those two books look now:

These will both be listed on my eBay store but only for a short while. I used to have an Etsy store for my artwork and decided to shut it down when I started developing this website. However, I'm thinking my Etsy store received more traffic than here and I'm about ready to move everything back there even though there are fees involved. Just the traffic and exposure would be worth it, in my opinion. So stay tuned, I'll update this decision sooner rather than later.
That's it for now...I think you're all caught up. Thanks for your loyalty and interest in my art and writing. If there's one thing I could ask, it's that you spread the word about me to your friends and family (and enemies too...I'm not picky). Authors and artists without an advertising budget rely on word-or-mouth from our followers to succeed and that is more evident now than ever before as this Nation's economy continues to decline.
Don't forget to follow me on all my social media platforms as they receive more updates, news, and silliness than here.
Until next time,
C.J.T.
